I offer several ways of supporting students with English, depending on how much structure, guidance and feedback they need.
Some students work well independently with the right direction. Others benefit from live teaching or personalised support. The options below are designed to help you choose the most suitable route for your child.

Independent revision with clear direction
GCSE English Language: Targeted Revision
A focused AQA Paper 2 course for students who want to improve their marks
Year groups: Years 10 & 11
Perfect for: GCSE English Language: Targeted Revision is a self-access course designed to help students make better decisions in the exam by understanding what actually makes the difference to marks.
It is particularly suitable for motivated students who are comfortable working independently, but feel unsure how to revise English Language effectively.
This course is a good fit for students who:
- Do not know how to revise English Language in a structured way
- Write plenty, but lose marks through weak exam decisions
- Feel that English Language is vague or unpredictable
- Want clearer guidance on what examiners are looking for
What’s included:
- A complete set of pre-recorded teaching videos modelling how to approach English Language tasks
- Guided practice activities and tests to support focused revision
- Clear explanations of how marks are awarded, and where students commonly lose marks
- Lifetime access to all course materials
- This course is designed for independent study and can be completed at the student’s own pace. Optional examiner marking and feedback is available separately for families who would like additional input.
Duration Self-paced course. A guideline of 6 weeks, and 2 hours study per week.

GCSE English Language: Targeted Revision

For students who benefit from the structure of the GCSE English Language: Targeted Revision course alongside live teaching and feedback.
This course is a good fit for students who:

A structured course designed to help students write more confident, well-shaped essays for GCSE English Literature. This course focuses on planning, structuring and developing responses, using model answers and guided strategies.

Perfect for: Students targeting grades 7–9 in GCSE & iGCSE English Literature (AQA & Edexcel).
This course is a good fit for students who:
